| - Purchased a puppy from The Animal Foundation and had a great experience. They make sure to cover everything about owning a new dog especially a puppy and information on the expected breed. They even tell you any information they have about their previous history such as previous owner (if any), medical history or problems (if known), etc. Our puppy came with first full set of shots, neutering, microchip with your information, dog food and even free medical care at local VCA clinic within first 5 days of purchase. They make sure you and your possible new family member get along before adopting by visiting either in the play yard or just by walking them around. You must spend at least 15 minutes but recommended 20-30 minutes with pet before confirming adoption. This really helps tell you if you'll be a good fit together. The staff is friendly and informative. They're quick and efficient at the entire adoption process. They do have a lot of rules when spending those first 15 minutes visiting prior to adopting and I noticed a few people being bothered by that; however, I do believe it's necessary and beneficial for the safety of you, others, and the animals. You must keep dogs separated at all time so no walking near another dog, no puppies on dirt or play area, no kids in play area especially with large breed dogs, etc. Again, I understand it. Overall, I had a great experience and I'm happy about our new addition. Thank you animal foundation.
