Personally, I really enjoy the cinnamon buns made by this national franchise with Calgary roots. I like them because:
(a) The buns are made right in front of your eyes. The visual stimulation of seeing them rolled and cut to perfection coupled with the smell of the next batch invokes a Pavlovian salivation response that makes me feel like a simple animal. I like that in a cinnamon bun proprietor.
(b) They are not drowned in icing. I don't like my buns smothered in white. After all they are buns and shouldn't that be the focus and the icing a compliment and not the other way around.
(c) They are filling. Half a bun is all I need to fill me up and this is good because I can share with someone else if need be.
They are a little more pricier than one would think, but I think worth the premium. Overall, always a treat!
