| - I've been waiting to do this review until I'd lived here for more than just a few days. Well, it's been over a month now, and I've had opportunities to talk to other residents, as well, so I feel that I can give an honest and knowledgeable review! (As opposed to reviews given after just a weekend or even a week or two, you know?)
It's kind of funny/strange....but after much research, it was the negative reviews that made me decide to give Holiday Royale a chance. I'll try to explain (without offending anyone who wrote those reviews).
I have devoted my entire life to helping others, and I was blessed to have been able to have a career in customer service! Without getting too personal, I was a military spouse to an officer in the U.S. Army for 25 years. I'm only telling you that to explain that I have lived around the world, as well as in many different states here in America. I also learned (a bit) of different languages, and a lot, about different cultures. I'm trying to say that I've actually lived in places as bad as some of you have claimed this place to be like! Also, I currently live, and have lived here in Las Vegas for 3+ years. I am blessed to have that knowledge- in which to use as a basis for comparison. I also have access via "local word of mouth".
The deciding factors--for me, was my initial "I'm looking for an apartment" conversation with Kathy. Secondly, when I was on Trip Advisor and Holiday Royale had very nice, positive reviews, including one, which startled me---by one of my dearest friends, Doris, who lives in Heidelberg, Germany! She WAS here about 6 months ago, in Vegas, visiting her family in Arizona. Unfortunately, I was out of town when she was 'in' town. Our husbands both worked in the Army, & we were stationed together in Arizona. That is how we met. She now lives in Germany). I never knew where she stayed while here until I recognized her review!
Ok---drum roll-----FINALLY, my review.... For Kathy and all who work the front office: To be mentioned positively on your great customer service and management on a variety of travel/hotel comparison websites means that you're doing something right!! For myself, I feel that I'm not just a tenant; I'm part of a family. For my Middle Eastern, Phillipino, European, American, African, Asian, Persian, UK, and friends I've forgotten to mention right now! And anyone who might be reading this: Wonderful Staff, kind & friendly work crew, just a few feet from the busline, and TONS of stuff to do, including shopping, are all within walking distant, easily! It is very secure, as well. My fiancé and I have experienced---especially Kathy---nothing but---compassion, and 'tough love' :-). I honestly love it here!!!
