Only the University of Toronto 'insiders' know about this price conscious spot on Bloor street.
This place is NOT fancy. It's great with campus colleagues - but do NOT bring a date.
Expect the gastropub people to go somewhere else and maybe pay 3 times the price for the same quality of food and possibly smaller portions.
It's like having a meal at Grandma's house that happens to be located near the UofT campus.
Nothing is fancy, but everything is filling.
You can get a balanced breakfast or lunch plate for just over $10 bucks and that INCLUDES tax and tip if you remember to leave one. The portions are generous.
It's a cross between a school or hospital cafeteria meets Granny's home cooking.
Everyone is pleasant and efficient. Can't beat the price or variety of food. #Recommend
