  • I've been buying running shoes at the Shoe Box for ages and am always impressed with the selection and service. They actually check the size of your feet and lace up your shoes and are extremely patient while you try on a dozen different kinds of running shoes and jog in circles around the store. Furthermore, there are 10% off coupons to be found in local newspapers and discount cards from the Boscobel Bulldogs fundraising efforts, so the prices come to be more affordable. I appreciate the Shoe Box's support of local youth both through providing lots of employment and through sponsoring a variety of sports teams. Plus, I buy great shoes there, from running shoes to nursing clogs to snow boots, while my mom buys sandals and my dad buys work boots. They also have several cages of pet birds throughout the store, sure to entertain your kid after he has lost interest in trying on gazillions of shoes or jumping on those floor mats that make "boing" sounds. Be sure to check out the sales room in the back.
