| - Very quaint, and reminds me of the bakeries I used to go to in Brooklyn. Really friendly staff there. There were a lot of varieties of strudels, hot cross buns, rolls, danishes, and the like -- not my cup of tea exactly, but still appreciated. I would have liked to see more cookies in there. But damn, it's a bakery, what on earth am I complaining about?!
The cupcakes looked pretty good, but I had just splurged on LaBella next door, so I thought it would be overkill. Got a danish and a cinnamon roll and the TOTAL was $1.40. Cheap!!!
I really liked the feeling I got while walking into Elmwood (and the smells weren't bad, either)!
