So I actually found Canyon Pointe and Dr. Chad Dain by looking on Yelp and comparing reviews to my in network dentists with my insurance. After reading a couple of good reviews and checking out Dr. Dain's credentials through the Metlife dental website, I made an appointment at Canyon Pointe Dental Group. So when I called, I was set up for an appointment and they offered to email all of my pre-visit paperwork to me since I was a new customer. Being able to fill it out online was so much easier than having to sit in the waiting room with a clipboard in hand trying to fill my entire address on a way-too-small line. So pre-visit paperwork able to filled out online- WIN.
As for my visit, everyone who I encountered at the office was beyond friendly and welcoming. Dr. "Call me Chad" Dain was very down to earth and friendly. I actually came into the office for a regular cleaning and checkup and learned that I had 2 cavities that needed to be filled. So from the comfort of my dentist chair, the office's payment and benefits specialist was brought in my room to discuss with me what my insurance would and would not cover. I went ahead with one filling and am returning after Christmas to get the second one filled. Much less painless with my last experience getting a filling. Also, while I was getting my cleaning I received some great hygiene and brushing tips to help with the level of buildup on my teeth.
So overall, great staff, great doctor, clean, modern office. I'm sold.
