  • Forget it. Drove down at 5:20 on a Tuesday afternoon. Asked if there was a wait for a smog check. Dufus behind the counter said they already had a car in for a smog check and that one would take a half hour. So they wouldn't be doing any more smog checks that day. I double-checked to make sure he was talking about smog checks. Yep. So I drove down the street where I got one for just a few bucks more, and was in and out in about three minutes. Cheap is good, unless it's also a big pain in the ass and waste of time.
