  • My friend and I purchased a Groupon voucher which was about $30 each. I loved the entire concept and the space itself. It was really fun, colourful and artsy. However, my experience here wasn't the greatest. Our instructor explained and showed things a little too quickly. For a first time painter I felt really rushed and stressed out. Even though the painting turned out okay, I didn't feel like I did my best. I didn't enjoy the process of painting and creating something wonderful. I felt really left behind and the pressure to catch up and finish the painting was overwhelming. I felt like when I was back in college trying to finish that last minute assignment due at midnight. I felt so rushed I forgot I even had a free drink and I never got to claim it. I would definitely do another paint night but perhaps with a different instructor or different company.
