Came here for Asian desserts a few times and while I like the entire concept of ZenQ, the desserts are not entirely to my liking. It's definitely not bad and it's not so much an issue with this place as opposed to my personal opinion.
The menu is impressive and comprehensive and they have Taiwanese food in addition to desserts. Price-wise, ZenQ is great. Nothing is super expensive and they give you quite a bit as well.
I had their shaved ice and grass jelly desserts and both were okay. I felt like their shaved ice could have been more flavourful as it was a tad on the icy side. We finished everything but the shaved ice as there was simply too much of it. They also gave a lot of grass jelly and I couldn't finish it either. If you come here, share your desserts if possible. I felt like the desserts here weren't sweet enough. The taro balls (or Q balls as they call them here) were also kind of disappointing. They had a nice chewy texture but lacked taste. I couldn't distinguish between the matcha, yam, and taro flavours. I guess they were too doughy.
Service is quite quick. Certainly not a bad alternative if Cha Me Cha is too busy or if you want someplace more simple and quiet.
