Chino Bandito is by far one of my favorite places to eat. I seriously go out of my way to make a stop there. I have been eating at Chino's for 9 years and I doubt I will ever stop going! They have two locations in the valley and I have been to both more times than I can recall. Both are excellent options for your first visit to Chinos. If you want to get lunch I would recommend that you get there early because this place gets crowded during lunch. Chino's has some very loyal fans and a somewhat complicated system for ordering. The best part is that the staff is always so helpful and attentive. They will walk you through the ordering process as many times as you desire.
The portions are huge and the cost isn't bad either. Plan to spend about 8 or 10 bucks per person and you will probably have leftovers. The staff is exceptionally helpful, and will take the time to give you a sample of every single item on the menu before you ever spend a dime! I don't know of any other restaurant in the world that gives out this much free food (samples). I personally recommend the black beans with the pork-fried rice paired with a jade red chicken quesadilla and a jen red pork burrito. This is my usual at Chinos although I have tried nearly every side and entre on the menu.
