  • Just an FYI - your business class airfare no longer gives you access to the business lounge on American Airlines. It is now a 'members' club so they can extract either a $35 'day fee' or a multi hundred $$$ membership. Not an attractive option should you live outside the good ol' USA or otherwise can avoid the piss poor service standards of US carriers. Airlines like this in Asia would be savaged for their diminishing service standards - how do they get away with this crap in the 'greatest country in the world?' Nice.
