  • I made the trek from Edmonton ton to Calgary to specifically go to Urban Fringe to get a color melt done. I had known about this salon for a while and I kept and eye on their Facebook and website to see what kind of hair creations they could come up with next. I had browsed a bunch of pictures and then I saw a before and after of a woman with dark hair, that had gotten a color melt done. That was it. That's what I wanted to do. Because of the commute I ended up being an hour and a half early. Turns out it was a great thing and they started my appointment early, as this process took a bit longer than expected. Under the consultation of the Director Sheri, the salon apprentice Megan (aka hair color goddess) I went from a medium reddish brown to the most amazing, warm, blonde melt. I am beyond in love with my hair. Everyone in the shop is awesome. Chatty, warm professionals who explain processes and how new innovations in hair products work. I left there with a huge smile on my face and a boost in my confidence. Not to mention my hair is silky smooth, trimmed up, colored perfectly and smells awesome. I would definitely make the trip back time and time again. It's worth it!
