It's Saturday night, the night before the Big Game. Our dear friend visiting from HI is in town for her birthday. Her other friends are also visiting from HI and want to meet up. This other group of friends are singers and they want to go to local bar for Karaoke.
So thirteen of us pile up in three cars and make our way to this Karaoke bar. "Oh oh!" I think to myself. "Why are there so many motorcycles?" We park our cars and make our way to the bar. As I walk past the motorcycles, they're big bikes but they're Yamahas and Hondas and not Harleys. So I can calm down. We get in and meet the rest of our party from HI. They said the time they've been here, was on a week night. They just found out that Saturday nights is biker night! OMG!
So we're trying to figure out what we're going to do. So one of the girls texts her girlfriend and says Aloha Kitchen has Karaoke on Saturday night. This workout great as one of our party members was from Oregon and she wanted Hawaiian-style food anyway.
Because we got to Aloha Kitchen a little late, all the booths for big parties were already taken. But the night of fun had already begun without us.
And I totally forgot that Aloha Kitchen's kitchen is open 24-hours. So we did it up HI style; ordered a couple of plates of fried noodles, manapuas, spam musubis, french fries, drinks and a couple of songs to sing.
4-stars for the Karaoke bar and 3.5-stars for the restaurant.
