This review was done in February from a previous Yelp account:
Ok, I'm angry now....and this is my last resort.....so listen up. My late husband purchased a home in Las Vegas a couple of years ago using Neal and Norma Cook of Luxury Homes of Las Vegas. He wanted to die where he most enjoyed living during our 33 year marriage....in Las Vegas. A few months later, as expected, my terminally ill husband died. Every month I get an advertisement from the Cooks, addressed to my dead husband at my now California address. I assume they are trying to portray themselves as caring and connected to clients... At my end, it just hurts...every time I get the letters, and is a reminder to the tragic sadness that was the end of his life. I needed and still do, stop the newsletters to stop arriving. I have spoken personally with both Norma and Neal. In addition, I have left several messages and returned their newsletter asking them to stop the mailings. A total of 11 contacts since January of 2015, and a confirmation last month from Neal that they would stop. Today, I got another newsletter. I read this as truly uncaring, disconnected and definitely NOT client or service oriented. Guess sometimes people think they are just too important to consider the feeling of others. If I were going to buy another home in Las Vegas, I would never buy from such self centered people....please do yourself a favor and consider any other organization.
I moved and no longer have the old email address. This is a response to the Broker who has a challenge with the truth.....
UPDATE! Response to brokers response stating that I said I would remove the negative review if my dead husbands name was taken off their mailing list. This is untrue. I never had such a discussion. I am deeply sorry that Norma lost her life to cancer. As a health care professional, I am quite sensitive to these issues.....While this is extremely unfortunate, I dealt with my increased heartache with constant reminders of my loss over my husbands death, both with Norma when she was well and then with Neal....the issue as explained above went on for nearly a year, long before she stopped working. Kenneth L, broker, is speaking out of turn as he never had any contact with me. I don't know that any ads have ever stopped. I moved and did not put my late husband on my forwarding address...I assume that is why I am no longer being harassed. I am deeply sorry to Mr Cook for his loss, I know pain oh too well....but the Yelp review was a fair and honest account of what happened long before his own personal tragedy.
UPDATE TO BROKERS POSTING OF MY EMAIL..... AS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE BY HIS SHARING OF MY PRIVATE LETTER TO THE OFFENDING AGENT, I DID NOT SAY I WOULD REMOVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEW, I SAID I WOULD UPDATE IT, IN OTHER WORDS, I WOULD WRITE ...THAT I FINALLY STOPPED GETTING THE HARASSING MAIL. BUT I SEE, HE IS STILL ACTING A VICTIM...NOT! I ALSO DO NOT APPRECIATE THE BROKER (WHO I HAVE HAD NO CONTACT WITH, EVEN IN WRITING) PUBLISHING MY PRIVATE LETTER TO NEAL HERE ON YELP, WHICH HAS EFFECTIVELY BEEN SHARED PUBLICLY, AND THEREBY HAS REMOVED THE ANONYMITY FROM MY POST, EVEN ANOTHER VIOLATION OF THE INTEGRITY OF HIS ORGANIZATION. IF I COULD TAKE AWAY STARS I COULD, HE WOULD EARN A NEGATIVE 5.
