Just had an unpleasant experience at this Harris Teeter. I was at the pizza bar a little before 7 p.m. tonight. The slices that were left looked a little sad but I decided to get two for my husband and myself. The lady behind the bar was busy and after several minutes without her acknowledging my presence, I thought maybe she hadnot noticed me standing there. I was thinking about maybe calling out to her but instead looked at my phone and decided to wait 7 more minutes until 7 p.m. and then just leave if I had not been waited on by then. She most have seen me glance at my phone because she was seriously upset. She snapped at me that she would be with me in a few minutes. I said okay in a mollifying tone of voice because she appeared so angry at me. Meanwhile the gentleman that also worked at the pizza bar was wandering around the buffets aimlessly as if he was trying to kill time. He looked up at his fellow associate's sharp tone, saw me and just kept on wandering about. I was thinking what is going on here? Harris Teeter obviously set up the pizza bar to sell pizza. why are these people so rude to me when I just want to buy some of the pizza they are selling???? Finally when it became obvious that they had no intention of waiting on me I walked away. Guess they showed me.
