This Wahlburgers is not up to Paul's standards. Had a terrible time at this location. Not sure how the Wahlburgers franchise system is run but I think that Paul would be ashamed if he knew what was going on at this location.
First, I'm at the airport on business and hungry. I saw the familiar Wahlburgers sign. I go over to the restaurant. There is a sign that says "Please wait to be seated". So I wait. The hostess comes over and doesn't seat me, she chats with other people, then some more people get in line. She looks around me and takes two different groups of people and seats them. Apparently I am invisible. After that I walked away in disgust.
Eventually I came back because I hadn't eaten all day. I was finally seated. I ordered a soda and "The Melt" burger.
While waiting I couldn't help but notice that there were fruit flies in the glass, dishwasher, and both beer tap areas of the bar.
After some time, the food arrived. The burger was gray and very dry. This disgusting thing between two pieces of bread was far past well done. I politely refused to eat it and given the sanitation issues of this location declined to have the burger remade. The burger was taken off the bill. I took a picture of this nasty thing and the receipts as proof of the legitimacy of this review.
The one bright thing about this restaurant was that the bartender Wendy was great. She worked very hard the whole time.
Paul, please visit this disaster and restore your reputation. This is not like your Hingham location. After reading other people's reviews, I seem not to be alone in my strong dislike of this location.
