  • The perfect escape to Italy in the city. I have been going to Grano for years now, and have even taken their Italian course offered in the evenings over a glass of wine and pasta. Grano is truly one of the most authentic Italian experiences in the city. And it isn't just a restaurant with delicious dishes, great wine and a beautiful atmosphere, it is a cultural hub in Toronto. Owner Roberto Martella hosts a number of cultural events and gatherings at Grano, many of which I have attended and thoroughly enjoyed. Grano is certainly among the finest Italian spots in Toronto and one I highly recommend to anyone with an appreciation for an old world sensibility.
