Short version:
Good food for the money and fantastic service. Manager Brandon really made sure it was a great experience. I also appreciate and support that they employ people with visible tattoos.
I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit to Ribs and Burgers. It's a casual place with an outdoor patio, but the menu was definitely full of potential. My first choice was the salmon, but they were out (it was late evening). I chose the kid menu ribs and my dining partner chose the chicken protein plate. They also have military/veteran discount, which is always cool.
The kid menu ribs came with four hearty ribs and fries. I don't generally eat fries, but I had a small nibble and they were delicious. The pork ribs were super tender, had just a bit of sauce, and were not gristly or fatty at all. I would come back for the ribs for sure.
The chicken plate came with two seasoned chicken breasts and a cabbage/apple salad. I am not a huge chicken fan, but that chicken was incredibly good. Moist and seasoned perfectly. The salad was fresh and crisp.
They serve boozy milkshakes which sounded interesting. I didn't get to try those on this trip.
Brandon, the manager, was super informative about the food. I really appreciated him taking the time to talk to me about the food origin and preparation.
I look forward to future visits to give the salmon and some of the other menu items a try.
