  • It's never a good day when you realize you have to take a member of the family to the vet. Our baby girl Onyx, 15 yrs old, had been acting off from her normal ways. And with us losing our other baby on New year's day we didn't want to take any chances. Since we moved into a new area we didn't have a vet here. So searching on Yelp as always for the best advice this was the second closest vet with amazing reviews. The first one closest to us not good stuff. So trusting our Yelp family I called and scheduled an appointment for Onyx. They receptionist was very pleasant and had plenty of open times to get her in. The Veterinarian was a very sweet women to Onyx and very understanding. She listened and gave us the best use of our money to hopefully help Onyx and figure out what might be bothering her. They took her blood work and got back to us the following morning with her results. They were very officiant and quick. The vet always made sure to talk to me when I called. Prices for meds & visit were reasonable. Yesterday I checked the mail and they had sent us a very nice get well card for Onyx. She's doing much better. Thanks to the care of West Flamingo Veterinarians.
