| - Casa Di Amore sets a tone right off the bat. The character and mood established is one of warmth and romance with the use of low lighting, dark wood paneling, classic decorations, and leather booths. This conveys the expectation that you're going to have a special meal and Casa Di Amore doesn't disappoint.
The one of the foundations of any excellent Italian restaurant is their house sauce or gravy. Casa Di Amore's basic sauce is just awesome it's hearty, rich, and scrumptious without being overbearing and sharp.
We began our meal with the garlic loaf which was cheesy, and toasty warm. Our friends had the Chicken Angelo and the ravioli. The Chicken Angelo with mushrooms, olives, and artichoke hearts was creamy, tasty, and tender. The ravioli were delicious and rich. We had the Gnocchi Alla Prosciutto and the Frutti Di Mare. The Gnocchi were made in house and complimented perfectly with a four cheese sauce. The Frutti Di Mare had shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and calamari in a rich, delicious red sauce/gravy. I've read yelp comments that have said the sauce was bland. The reason I decided to visit Casa Di Amore were the newspaper articles that cited the house sauce/gravy as one of the best in Vegas and comparable to the best on the east coast. I'm in full agreement, it was one of the best meals I've had in Vegas. The service was knowledgeable and responsive throughout our visit.
