  • We purchased a new king bedroom furniture as well as a Alice Cove memory foam mattress. The mattress is the store brand and is suppose to be as good as the high end mattresses according to the Kathy Jo the sales rep, who was beyond pushy and gave us the the worst buying experience, luckily we already knew what we wanted in a bedroom set so that wasn't a problem but when it came to the mattress we made the mistake of listening to the so called experts in the store. We had it delivered a couple days later w/o issue but after spending a couple nights sleeping in the bed we soon discovered what a POS it is! I called the manager On Ray Rd. And he was completely useless, every other store that sells mattresses stand behind their product by offering a money back guarantee, Ashley Furniture knew that they were selling crappy product so they offer no Returns!! I mentioned the return policy of other stores and in typical douche bag fashion he says "We are not those other stores", then he proceeds to tell me that due to the no return policy the company recommends to buy their higher end product in order to avoid any return/refund issues .... WTF! Kathy Jo said your mattress is just as good as the high end ones?!!!! I've purchased a few thousand dollars of furniture w/o any issues as a matter of fact Joe was probably the best sales rep I've worked with, but going through this mess and pretty much told tough luck about returning this POS I may just have to cut Ashley furniture off. The high end furniture stores are more expensive but there's is never an issue when it comes to customer service!!! DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM ASHLEY!
