  • I've been very disappointed in the quality of chocolates at The Baker's Daughter. They were very pretty little morsels, teasing me with the promise of deliciousness, but they tasted very stale. The flavor of the refrigerated case had permeated the entire treat, and this was true for each of the 10-that's right TEN- kinds we bought. You know when you leave something uncovered in the fridge and it gets that stale, yucky flavor? Like that. And the chocolates are not cheap! The one item I did enjoy was the candied lime slice, that was very good. The service is fine, DEFINITELY better than the poor service at the sister property Karl's next door, but for the price of the product this place is just not worth it.
