  • This review is long overdue. I was introduced to CupKates in March 2016 while visiting my Mom and sister. We were shopping at Tivoli Village and they told me I needed to try this cupcake place. They know I LOVE cupcakes. I was like eh... I've eaten the "popular" and "best cupcakes ever" from Bakery's in New York, Los Angeles and Hawaii. I wasn't impressed. Sooo I thought I'd give CupKates of Las Vegas a try. Will was very nice and friendly. I bought one regular size cupcake. I can't remember the flavor. I took one bite before leaving Tivoli. I couldn't believe it. The BEST cupcake I've ever tasted. The cake was fresh, light and delicious. I felt like I was eating a cupcake cloud. If a cloud had taste, it would taste like cupkates The frosting was light, creamy, not too sweet but juuuust right. The flavoring was perfect. The cupkate decoration was sprinkled with a beautiful Fairy dust glitter. Soo beautiful. Sooo..... of course I went right back to the store and bought 6 more cupkates (different flavors). They were all soooo good! Ever since then Cupkates is my go to cupcake spot. I've purchased the mini cupkates as well. They were okay. A little dry. I've tried all cupkate flavors. They were all delish! The only thing I do not care for is the packaging/ plastic container cupkates come in. The cupkates are not individually sitting apart in a holder. They slide and move and end up smashing into each other which is a mess when they are opened.
