So if you've been a FLW tour in IL or Falling Water, this may be a disappointment. I know I was. It's all about the architecture and I get that but it is related in every room you visit. I did the 90 min so you get into "private" spaces. There is little in this your about the Man, his apprentices, or what it took in 1939!!!! To build out there. What he expected of his apprentices. What life was like without water for months and electricity for years. And how he persevered between WI and AZ in an age without highways or trains yet. And that urban sprawl came to Wright as much as he tried to avoid it.
So it a a nice place. Don't bother w more than 60 minute tour. Don't worry about shoes you're either inside or on pea gravel - I thought we would visit apprentice site out from the house. Not so. And don't worry about the heat. You are in and out of air conditioned rooms.
Go check it off your list and move on to other wide open spaces of AZ.
