  • For those who know me certainly know about my absolute dislike/protest/hesitation when it comes time for me to get my hair cut. After I requested suggestion over Twitter, my friend (fellow Yelper, Amy F.) suggested I check out Fringe since it's in my neighbourhood. Feeling impulsive one day to finally cut it, I was lucky enough to score an appointment that afternoon with one of the stylists, Chanel. Thank the higher being for Chanel. It has been over a week since my cut (as I need about a week to get over the shock of it all) and I absolutely love it. FINALLY! Someone who knows how to cut my thick, wavy, frizzy, long hair! No matter how I style it, it looks great. The best $60 I've spent in quite some time. The salon itself caters to a small group of stylists, equipped with 4 cutting stations and 2 washing sinks. It is simple, clean and full of daytime light. Definitely looking forward to my next cut Honourable Mentions: - Chanel: cutting genius - They use Aveda hair products! A nice selection available for sale at the front desk as well - My fears were eased while listening to the sweet, sweet sounds of reggae
