| - Who knew a former Fantastic Sams' would become a brand new bubble tea/boba teahouse close to Mesa Community College? It has a unique interior, and the television plays music videos in Mandarin Chinese. I stopped in with somebody else to check out this new teashop. We were behind someone else in line, but surprisingly, the man behind the counter made theirs fast. The menu looks pretty ideal for a bubble tea shop, but as a previous reviewer noted, some items need clarification. Although I did not order it, I assume "Cheese Tea" would be close to sea salt crema, but I could be wrong. I ordered a large-sized Fancy Milk Tea with boba, while the person with me ordered a medium Hokkaid? Milk Tea without boba. Like the person preceding us in line, we received ours fast. The cups have Boba Tree's unique design on them, however, they use the typical clear cup snap-top lid, rather than the heat-sealed plastic film bubble tea/boba tea shops normally use. Not that it should matter whether they use it or not, because their drinks tasted good. The Fancy Milk Tea, which comes with pudding, had a delicious creamy flavor, not too sweet, and the boba was deliciously chewy. The person with me let me try their Hokkaid? Milk Tea, and it had the toffee caramel flavor down quite nicely. Ice level was also well done. All of the ice in my Fancy Milk Tea melted, while the person with me had a little bit of ice that did not water down their Hokkaid? Milk Tea. I personally like Boba Tree better than the bubble tea/boba shop across the street, The Street Boba Cafe.
