  • I would give a million stars if I could. It's been almost 2 weeks since we lost our beloved Ruckus and I want to thank and praise Dr. Hoff and the staff. We always hope we never need the services of a 24 hour vet, but when we do it's comforting to know there is one as amazing VECC North. Ruckus had been fighting cancer and lupus for several years going in and out of remission. Our vet told us his time was getting near so we took each extra day that we had with him as a blessing. That morning Ruckus was having a good day, but later in the evening he had trouble walking, was breathing heavily, and filling with fluid. We rushed him to VECC north and Dr. Hoff examined him and let us know it was time to say goodbye bye. It was hard not only because we weren't ready, but had wanted it to be with his vet family that had seen him through his illnesses. Dr. Hoff and the staff were understanding, compassionate and gave us all the time we needed to spend our last moments with our sweet boy. I am so grateful they were there for us. Highly recommend!
