| - I went to Forward for several years because they were one of the few practices that worked with my insurance. Now that I'm able to, I'm switching. In general, the care was adequate, but the turnover was so high that I rarely saw the same dentist or hygienist more than once. On my last couple of visits, the receptionists (two different ones) were unprofessional bordering on rude. The final straw was arriving for a cleaning to be told, without apology, that my appointment had been canceled because the hygienist quit. They claimed to have left a voicemail weeks before, but I did not get it, and they apparently felt no need to follow up. They did, however, send a confirmation email days before the appointment and long after they knew it was actually canceled. Each problem on its own was not that big a deal, but the practice seems to be poorly run, and I ended up feeling abused.
