Finally tried their Tea Salon. I tried their Tea Salon in Paris (Champs Élysées location) and that one was great so I am excited to try this one. I got a hot chocolate (without the cream) for $7.50 and a club salmon sandwich for $19. Their hot chocolate was good, although a bit heavy.
They also gave me a small chocolate along with my hot chocolate (perhaps they didn't think this one through). But the hot chocolate was good, just wish their service was better as I had to ask twice for a glass of water. In my mind, the server should anticipate here that water would be required.
The salmon sandwich was delightful. But at $19, not something that I would get again. They do say they use organic materials etc. But I think the $19 is to cover the ambiance cost, not the food preparation costs.
The ambiance is beautiful, they had a paper tablecloth was Ladurée trademark over it. They also had a paper slip cover over the hot chocolate pot (something that was the same as Paris). The waitresses were wearing black dresses with aprons. So I thought that part is quite cool.
All in all, a great experience (but not one to be experienced that often given the price)
