  • I was in Yorkville and decided to grab a late lunch here...also they prize themselves on stocking ingredients that you might not be able to get elsewhere. I have been searching for black cherries in kirsch brandy and sadly my search continues. The staff, with the exception of the incredibly sour snooty woman at the deli counter were super friendly and helpful. The aforementioned woman I found rather condescending...it was the look she gave me and the way she spoke to me that I found a bit rude so minus 1 star. However the chick pea roti was ok. The english trifle gellato was heavenly! The cake selection...oh my! I had to walk away from that counter before I drowned in my own drool!! I would shop there again...it's a bit out of my road. That said I may need to go back to just pick up dessert for a party!
