| - Let me temper the above rating with the following missive. Burrito Drive has stayed true to their formula and has a loyal following of people ranging from neighborhood professionals to late night denizens. After some experimentation, my general go-to is still the house salad, which has a balanced and surprising array of items from mildly pickled carrot shavings to pepitos, cubed beets, queso fresco and a bed of nice fresh greens. Outside of the cheese, the lack of protein requires some fast a la carte thinking. Enter the braised pork, which, in the restaurant's earlier incarnation was fashioned from a marinaded and spiced shoulder and shredded. What I was served instead was something entirely different, and consisted of a bowl of shredded pork which could have easily been included in one of those fancy dog food cans for a spoiled Pomeranian. A pool of warm liquid in the bottom of the bowl raised my suspicion that it had also been "nuked" for the kitchen help's convenience. Suffice it to say that if I ever order the house salad again, I will find another angle on braised pork, possibly even getting the to-go version purveyed at Nattspil, minus the bread.
