  • I have passed by this patisserie many times while at Yorkdale and never gone inside. There is a big display of macarons so I assumed it was just another macaron place. I finally ventured in the store on Sunday morning while it was relatively quiet. What a surprise inside. They have a large assortment of French pastries including of course macarons and something rarely offered, le petit chou ( puff pastries) with many different flavors. There are also a huge selection of croissants and savoury baked pastries, assorted sandwiches, a great selection of salads, individual chocolates and unique chocolate bars. There is a full coffee bar inside the store. I purchased some macaroons and petit chou. Love the cassis and strawberry flavour petit chou it is sweet but there is intense fruit flavour that tastes like it is made fresh from scratch. The cassis and exotic caramel macarons were light crispy and flavourful and exactly what macarons should be. Very nice atmosphere and modern setting with plenty of tables for sitting. I will definitely be coming back for quick bites, takeout and dessert.
