I frequent spas in Vegas every time I visit the city because it's a solo activity I enjoy while my fiance sits at the casino tables. I try to go to different ones just for a different experience and for comparison...but have decided that no other will beat the Bellagio experience.
I love that once you step into the spa and take the elevator upstairs, it's as if you have entered another world. All your senses are awakened and then complete relaxation sets in. This place is very similar to Burke Williams in California in terms of atmosphere and service, except it's even better because it's huge!!
Come with plenty of time to spare because there are tons to do while waiting for your appointment. I can sit in the pool area for hours just appreciating the silence, enjoying hot tea/coffee, reading a magazine (a collection they keep very up to date), or munching on fresh fruits. Many are surprised to learn that the four hot tubs they have differ in temperature and serve different purposes for the body...so check that out next time you're there.
The facility is kept extremely well and the staff very helpful. They do not bother you, and are always there to help if they see that you're looking for something or need help making tea. :) I have always switched between the relaxation massage and the deep tissue...and I can't complain because it's always 50 min of heaven.
We have also enjoyed couples massages here, and have nothing bad to report. The only thing I can think of to suggest is to have some sort of co-ed solarium (like Burke Williams Santa Monica).
HI: a completely good-for-the-body spa experience from beginning to end.
LO: nothing to date. Well, I suppose the price...but then again, you get what you pay for, so not really a complaint.
