| - What's for lunch? So on the day I visited Sushi Mon, I wasn't sure what to have for lunch, so I mindlessly drove to the plaza where Sushi Mon resides. As I pulled in, I remembered, I've never been here. So I gladly pulled up and parked in front of Sushi Mon. Came in and it was nice to see that even though the restaurant had just opened up a few minutes ago, people were already inside with their orders coming out. Good sign so far.
Since I was there by myself and only two open tables, I thought it would be okay to sit at the bar. Got the menu and I was glad to see they had a bentos on their lunch menu. Btw, lunch menu is reasonably priced. I chose the simple chicken katsu and CA roll meal that was nicely priced at $7.50. Yay, that means lunch is going to be under $10, including tip.
Everything on my plate was tasty from the salad with ginger sesame salad dressing, my all-time favorite japanese potato salad and CA roll. Because it is a lot of rice, I wasn't able to finish up the CA rolls which is fine because that meant I could have it later for dinner.
Good customer service, clean restaurant, nice atmosphere and just as important, great price! 5-stars for this lunch experience.
