  • The Shark Reef is located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Admission tickets are cheaper if ordered online 1-2 days before visiting. They have two exhibits to visit with one ticket price. I recommend going to Polar Bear exhibit. It is really small and about 3 interaction for children. They have a ride that holds about 6 people. It is like a gated area you stand and it moves back and forth with a large screen. They won't let children 3 and under in, tickets are checked. Getting tickets day of the line gets pretty long (believe me I stood in line). Kids under 3 years old are free. The main exhibit is cool. It has a jungle theme appearance large fish tanks everywhere. The tunnel tanks are cool. Pretty cool to walk through and see fish swimming over head. The main large tank with sharks was amazing. Structure was neat, like a abandoned ship under sea. Main attraction was great. My favorite was the jelly fish. They do offer large open area that allows you to touch the sting ray fishes. Con- don't offer discounts to nurses. Ticket allows only one time enter. Can't leave and come back in the same day. Pro- staff is great and friendly and exhibit is very clean.
