  • My friends and I decided to come here after we thought Eggslut was closed. We got seated pretty fast and saw the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The waiter came around and was friendly. We all asked for waters. Twenty minutes later, we get three waters. He says, "I'm sorry, I can't count. I'll bring out another right away." After fifteen minutes have past, we had to ask someone, who appeared to be the manager, for another water. He quickly brought out another water which we were thankful for. Anyways, it took us another ten minutes to order. Now once we did, we did not get our food until probably 30-40 minutes. Our waiter was seen talking to another server against the wall. We couldn't tell if he was flirting as it appeared but either way he never came by our table once. My friend's water spilled and everyone except our server were at our table helping us. It was so kind of this one man to dry off our table. I'm sure it happens often but again we were grateful for this man. Our waiter finally comes out with our food and says, "I'll be back to fill those waters." He never comes back until we are absolutely finished we our food. The fries were great but the Kobe beef was so dry we completely finished our waters. We had to ask another server for our server to refill our waters. Seriously? Mind you, the restaurant was not busy at all. We were so irritated by our server. The only time he asked us if we needed anything was when we were absolutely done with our food. Our waiter later has the audacity to ask my friend, who's check was $6 if we wanted change back since he gave the waiter a $20. Seriously again? A $14 tip when you never came by our table, was flirting with your co worker, AND never was to be seen in a not so busy restaurant. He was so instant we give him a large tip. Of course, we were going to tip him. I'm assuming he thought since we aren't older looking, that we wouldn't tip. What we should've done was tip him before and ask to be taken care of. Lesson learned, always tip first. Thanks Carlo, you seriously was amazing.
