We had great service and our food came out promptly. The lamb burger was great tasting and the portion size of the French fries bordered on absurd.
I would suggest steering clear of the smoked brisket. The meat lack any smoke flavoring and was tough and chewy. Not what you want in a sandwich.
From my seat I had a clear view of a prep area of the kitchen. I do not like to see non-restaurant personnel entering and exiting the kitchen as if a party is happening back there while my food is being prepped. Also, I know we all have to eat to survive, but I don't want to see people eating in the kitchen when I can't also see them washing their hands afterward.
Over all this is a good place to stop for a bite to eat, however, just keep in mind every menu item isn't a hit. Murray Ave Grill clearly aspires to be a good restaurant, but they're just not there and can work to improve.
Despite my criticisms I would still give it another try.
