| - I am one of the most non-confrontational people, but this place deserved a warning to all. I bought a groupon for a cut, partial highlight, deep condition, botanical treatment, and color treatment. I know that when you buy a Groupon you get what you pay for but I wouldn't pay $65 for just the cut. My stylist was Diane and while she was prompt and listened to what I wanted, she did not give me a great experience. During my shampoo, she sprayed me in the face, then threw a towel on my face and said sorry. So I had to be the one to clean myself up. I'm not a stylist but I'm pretty sure that's the first thing you learn in beauty school, don't get the customer sprayed in the face. Then, I don't think I ever got the treatment in my groupon. When she fixed my cut and color (she did a dry cut) she began blow drying my hair. I know my hair is long and thick, but she must've gotten tired because she put so much product on it, I could feel it tangling as she was drying it. Then, she kept talking about scrunching my hair. I told her I curl it, well what do you know. I left the salon with my hair half wet, scrunched with about a pound of product, and could barely see any highlights or feel the treatments.
When I got home, my hair was so stiff, my fiancé even noted that I "ruined my long soft hair". I had to shower immediately just to feel like I had hair again instead of crunchy straw. I'm fine to scrunch hair, but at a salon, I want to feel like a million bucks with soft flowing hair that is styled when I leave.
It is my understanding that terzetto has a Groupon since they are looking for new clients and I don't believe this is the way to go about it. Granted, the salon was gorgeous and other customers did have wonderful results. Just stay away from Diane.
