| - Usually when I go to Vegas, I'm either clubbing or clubbing. I don't have the time to make it up to Downtown Vegas from the strip, but this time, I was with family during our roadtrip and we decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner. My brother and dad had already gone, so I knew it was a really affordable restaurant. I had pretty low expectations, but after waiting in line for 20 minutes on a weekday, we finally got seated. It thankfully didn't smell like cigarettes and the restaurant was super cute and had a retro classy hotel feel to it.
The value of the food here was amazing! There were a lot of different choices for $10 meals, but the majority of us picked the $10 prime rib special where you get the unlimited salad bar, potato side (mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, french fries), vegetables, prime rib, and dessert! My boyfriend ordered their $10 country fried chicken steak with mashed potatoes and a corn with the salad bar (no dessert). First of all, the salad bar was so delicious! It was almost like Souplantation, but actually better! Their macaroni salad and imitation crab salad was very Hawaiian and delicious. They even had a broccoli dish where it literally tasted like the Joan's broccoli at Souplantation. I definitely had my full at the salad bar, but then the actual main course came.
The prime rib with juice and green beans were absolutely amazing. The medium rare was perfect for me and the green beans were definitely buttered up or something because I couldn't stop eating them. Then the dessert came, which was just a vanilla ice cream with cherries syrup and a little waffle cone chip. Overall, this was a great bang for your buck restaurant with a great ambiance!
