I'm not one for mani pedis but I am one for splurging on an indulgent spa day once every blue moon. My issue with booking a spa day is that they are expensive and you don't want to book a lackluster experience and be out hundreds of dollars for nothing. As a yelper I naturally took to the community for advice on a great spa and I couldn't be happier.
For my birthday I took spa day donations so I could have the most relaxing day ever. I booked the spa day get away first thing in the morning on a Friday. I had one of the Sarahs and I'll have to go back to get her last initial so I can give her some recommendation! I received a glass of champagne, a scrub, massage, and facial over the span of three hours and tacked on lunch from Cleveland vegan at the end. I love that you have one person the entire time because you don't have to move around and it also makes tipping very easy. Each of the three treatments flowed into one another and it was magical.
Since I booked when they opened I had no trouble finding parking but I could see where if you book over two hours worth with the lot full you would struggle since the meters only run for 2 hours at a time.
The staff was warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's luxurious yet relaxing at the same time. I understand now why they tell you to come in early because you can sip tea or champagne in your robe while reading magazines- honestly I wish I had came even earlier than I did. I locked up my phone for everything but lunch and it felt wonderful to get away from life for a while.
My lunch from Cleveland vegan was stellar and I love that their lunch options are all vegan. Im a part time vegan, and, while you probably aren't vegan at all, there's something about whole plant based foods that are rejuvenating and refreshing.
The amenities here are wonderful- they even have toothbrushes if you need it!
I don't think I've had a better spa experience than I had here and I can't wait to book another one. It really made my whole day bright and wonderful!
