Shoutout to my Hygenist Sarah!
When I first went to this dental centre I rotated through a lot of hygenist. During one of those times I was given Sarah and since then I have stuck with her. She is such a delight to deal with - great personality, efficient, and PAINLESS with her cleaning which is so nice for me. I've always had others scrape and scrape where my gums start bleeding and then I get in crap for the plaque on my teeth. Sarah is gentile with her cleaning but always thorough.
I hope she never leaves.
Dr Cumandra is my dentist. He always has a smile on his face and always tries to help you when he can. My insurance doesn't have the best coverage so he doesn't push unnecessary procedures.
One time I had an emergency where I thought I had a blocked salivary gland. My face was puffed up on my side and the pressure was so painful that I was on T3's. I called in and he squeezed me in the same day.
Unfortunately there wasn't a blockage (kinda of like a stone) so I had to take meds to get the swelling down.
I was impressed that for a busy doctor he had time to get me in quickly and I didn't even have to wait in the waiting room.
The only glitch I've had with him is he did my white fillings when I wasn't covered (which should have been writen on my chart) and I ended up getting charged big time out of my own pocket.
The front desk receptionist Lisa is a pleasure to deal with as well to book and cancel appointments. Even if you have questions she usually have the answers without going through Dr Cumandra.
If you recommend someone into their office you get a thank you card.
I referred my dad is and I got a "thank you for referring your husband".. found that quite comical.
I just had my 5-year anniversary with Dr Cumandra and he gave me a hand shake along with a box of chocolates.. Sweet!
Of course they were sugar free :P
