Nothing particularly special about the Montreal airport. It gets you from point A to B, easy to navigate around and has free wifi. Simple to grab a taxi/uber from arrivals too.
I like that it is free to enter and drop friends/family off in the departure waiting area (also same for arrivals). The layout is very straightforward.
The airport is fairly small with not a great deal of shops/amenities. A few coffee shops and stores but less in comparison to other airports.
In the arrivals customs area, there are now many self-scan screens installed which is so convenient and time-saving. I remember having to wait at least an hour to two hours in the super long queues for non-Canadian residents. Glad they have improved this area as the wait time truly was ridiculous!
