  • Hearing so much about Buddy V's cake boss, I was eager to try out his restaurant as well and it was so perfectly placed right across from the cake boss. It was perfect timingly as there was absolutely no wait time when we went and we were seated right away. So my husband and I both decided to try his pasta, but we first started off with his meatballs as an appetizer. They were decently sized but to our disappointment, there was not much flavor to it. We were expecting a burst of flavor but there wasn't much to it except for ground meat. Not much seasoning to it at all and it was honestly, something that I make better at home. For the main course, I ordered the chicken regatoni "alla vodka," which I always have to try at all italien restaurants. It was pretty good except a bit on the salty side. My husband ordered the "my dad's bucatini carbonara" which he thought was just ok. Our waiter was very helpful and did suggest the meatballs for us to try. Everything else about the restaurant was great.
