| - West Towne Mall in Madison, WI
I am from Dallas, Texas, aka the home of huge amazing malls. For this reason, I ask that you take my word with a grain of salt. I am sure this mall is the best to some people, but I have seen much better. The selection in my opinion just is not up to the standard that perhaps I am used to. there are only a few stores, most of which (probably all of which) are chains. This makes it so that you are never going to find something unique and super special because it is the same thing everyone else has just about everywhere else.
The food court is getting better. They just added a Cheesecake Factory so that has lured in a lot more guests lately than usual. They also have a Granite City which I would liken to a up scale Chili's. Other than that the food court consists of everything you would see in any other food court--a Sabarro, Potbelly's, Auntie Anns etc.
Now the service... yeah, that is just about as lack luster as everything else. The mall is located across the street from a high school which I think is where they acquire most the their employees. The students are rude and unhelpful at times, but this is also the case within most malls.
Overall, if you want a unique shopping experience, I would suggest heading down to Chicago.
