  • I have been meaning to try Herbs and Rye for the LONGES time. I can't believe it's taken me over 2 years living in Vegas to get out to this amazing restaurant. Before I even talk about how incredible the food and drinks were, let's talk about the ridiculously amazing happy hour!! 50% off steaks from 5-8pm??? WHAT?! AMAZING. (PS If you get there at 7:50, like we did, they'll give you til a few min after 8pm to get the order in. So nice!) Here's what we drank....basically everything. I wish I remembered the specific drinks - every single thing we ordered was not only inventive, but very well balanced (which is the #1 thing I look for in a cocktail). Their cocktail menu takes you on a delicious tour through the many eras of booze. We ordered the beef tartare: it was excellent! I'm super picky about beef tartare, and this one was delicious and had a great presentation as well. We also ordered the filet and some asparagus. Of which, we ate every last bite. I will definitely be back - happy hour or otherwise.
