| - My husband and I recently survived the purchase of a new vehicle...and lived to tell the tale. To him, it was just as painful as the accident that forced him to buy a new car in the first place.
Yes, I'm sorry to say, there are plenty of pirates still out there. Drive up to Sands Kia and any other dealership and they appear to be right outside the front door, huddled together, waiting to pounce on the fresh meat we customers are. Argh, matey! Want to walk the plank?
Some salesmen at other dealerships literally chased us through the parking lots, cigarettes in hand, swooping down like vultures. Naturally we ran.
So it was a pleasant surprise at Sands Kia when our initial sales guy handed us off to the bubbly and beaming Stephanie Lara, who knew more about the vehicle than he did. Stephanie was formerly a manager for Chick-fil-A and that positive customer service spirit still flows in her veins. At a car dealership, this is highly unusual, and refreshing.
During the process, she went the extra mile to understand our needs and get us in the right car. When we wanted to check out the competition, she was calm and confident in encouraging us to do so.
Result? He bought a new Kia at Sands and we are grateful to Stephanie for being on our side!
