Keep in mind that this festival is free and that it is held in the historic Distillery District. Go for the full experience: take your time, take lots of pictures, explore the eateries, and definitely go with a bunch of fun loving people.
I went with a group of photographers so we had a blast taking tons of pics and selfies. There are lots of cool back drops: the exhibits, romantic lighted walkways and patios, and the beautiful Downtown skyline.
We warmed up with coffee at Balzac's beforehand, made rounds to each exhibit (twice) then had an enjoyable late night dinner.
The exhibits this year had more movement to them. There was one that was interactive: you had to walk/run around it for it to light up. Come on! Let your inner kid out, and stop being a serious adult for a hot sec.
