  • Went to the spa for a mother daughter day!! We purchased the Bliss package. We arrived on time and was greeted quickly and with a smile. We were shown to a changing room to put our clothes and shoes in a garment bag and but on a long plush robe. Sat in the waiting area. They had tea, mini muffins, trail mix available. We were taken upstairs to our rooms. I had the facial first. She did a nice job in explaining what she was doing. For my daughter she didn't explain anything and did not do anything on her upper chest. My massage was ok. It felt like she was just rubbing lotion on me. Did not work out any knots. My daughter had a guy and he started at her feet. Never had a massage start that way plus he wore gloves. And her room was freezing. She did say something and he just said " yeah this room is cold". Their website says to plan to be there for 2.5 hours... we were done just short of 2!! When done they bring out your clothes from the back room and they were cold when we put them on. Not good after getting all relaxed!! The up side of the day was when we mentioned a service that was listed on the website that we didn't get, they gave us each a $50 gift card ( we used a spa finder gift card for payment so she couldn't give us cash back. ). May use the $50 on a mani/pedi in the spring. Hopefully that will be done well.
