  • I actually had a really good experience with this place. Yes, it's far, but not that much further than the Toyota dealership where I would've originally taken my SUV. I had initially taken my car over to Findlay Toyota in Henderson, but for what I needed to have done, it was $1200, not including two other parts that needed to be replaced, bringing the total closer to $1500 at least. Yes, they would've thrown in a free car rental while I waited for the repairs, but I just couldn't afford it at the time, so I put it off. Well, I had to get the repairs done, so I went to Sansone's for an inspection, to see what I really needed done. I ended up getting an oil leak fixed, belt replaced, water pump replaced, and timing change cover replaced. They did say that they were willing to remove any charges for parts that did not need to be replaced, even if they did the labor to check. I'll admit that I'm not 100% knowledgeable about cars, but I did the homework and realized that the majority of this stuff was labor-intensive vs. parts. Based on the original quote, I told them that I wouldn't be able to pay for the repairs and would unfortunately not be able to give them my business. However, I did work with them (using various coupon offers and talking to the owner about where I could possibly save more money). The owner even allowed me to get a rental car on him while they repaired my car. When they sent me a revised quote (scanned and emailed, since I don't have access to a fax machine), I was quite pleased with the adjustments that they made on my behalf. When I came back, they had not only done the repairs (took a bit longer than scheduled, but only because they were waiting on parts), but cleaned my car quite nicely. I was actually running late after getting out of work and returning the rental car, but they were quite accommodating and said they would wait for me to return, regardless of what time it was. I really felt valued as a customer and appreciated their help when it came to financing the repairs. I'll admit that the free coffee, biscotti, snacks, and water didn't hurt either :) I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to have work done to their car. If you do go and have to go on a Monday, then make sure that you get there before 8am, since I just barely beat the rush. You should also sign up for their newsletter to get coupons in the mail/online.
